In 2021, the first season of Squid Game was a global success and completely attracted the attention of fans to the Korean thriller series. We are patiently waiting for Squid Game season 2 and Netflix has already confirmed that it will be released later this year, in December. As expected, we got new information today during Netflix Geeked Week 2024.
Ahead of the December release of Season 2, Netflix has unveiled a special teaser to get fans ready for the upcoming season. Lee Jung-Jae returns as Seong Gi-hun, alongside many of the famous Korean cast members as new players in the all-new game ahead:
This special teaser kicks off the treacherous games of Season 2 with the leader and the masked pink soldiers who will soon be giving us an exhilarating adventure. In the special trailer, we see Seong Gi-hun in his iconic Player 456 uniform. The one-minute trailer says, “The game will not stop.” and we certainly don’t want it to stop.
Squid Game Season 2 will be released on December 26, 2024, and the third season has already been announced.
