The teenager crossed paths with Oswald while he was trying to steal the mobster’s car with his friends. Just as Oswald was about to shoot him, the boy pleaded for his life. Oz then decided to use the boy as a pawn, but later, Vic also showed interest in being his sidekick.
The pilot episode of the TV series showed a strange bond between the two. The one whom Oswald was hesitant to trust at first showed his true potential at the end of the episode. He cut off Alberto’s finger and made Sofia believe that it was Salvator who killed her brother. In doing so, Vic directed all the heat towards Salvator and saved Penguin from Sofia’s wrath.
